92 bronco kam fuse location?
I just replaced the ecm on my bronc due to some issues I have been having with my trans and ignition cutting out while driving. been getting a code 512 Keep alive memory (KAM) fault Battery disconnected, check KAM fuse. if OK module faulty. battery is connected because I have driven it I would hope the module is good since it is a rebuilt one. so trying to figure out what fuse it is referring to. may try disconnecting everything tomorrow and see if that makes a difference. just looking for any ideas what could cause this or what else to check. I have looked through the forums and didn't notice anything applying to this yet.

from what I have been able to guess from more reading it's basically the fuse for the ecm itself which unlikely to be bad since I was driving the truck since putting the new ecm in. but after more attempts to clear the code it finally worked so guessing most my problem on that code was more so due to my 15yr old code scanner seeming to be going bad good reason to finally buy the new scanner I have been looking at that does obd1 and obd2. I swear though who ever came up with some of these codes and descriptions should try to make things abit clearer or atleast make sure they even have anything whatsoever to do with the vehicles they are for. lol
