Couldn't locate the o ring. Even Ford said they didn't have it so i guess ill pull it an see if i can find one similar today an try to fix it.

Not exactly sure what it was. But it was a piece of metal fell out when i removed the dipstick tube. I guess someone had dropped it in there at somepoint and it got wedged in there an rubbed with the vidrations.

Anyone got any idea were i can order a new dip stick tube from? All i can find is "universal" tubes.

I wonder if there is such a thing as a flexible auto dipstick tube? I'm having a hard time squeezing a DP in there with the dipstick. I tempted to just leave the short stub down there and cut the dipstick down to size. LOL

Remove the dipstick tube along with the transmission. Replace with a ZF5. Problem solved....
