Hey first time poster here with a question about my 2009 Escape.

There is a faint rattling sound when the climate control fan is blowing A/C or heat. It is very annoying and gets progressively louder as the system blows more air through it. It is not a whining or screeching noise, but a slight click-click rattling noise. Is there a part I can tighten, lubricate, or replace to fix it? How hard is this thing to take apart to get in there and look around? There is also a really annoying rattle sound coming from the back of the car (tailgate) but I'll save that for another post haha.

sounds just like the faulty blower motors on the fusions. It sound like this? 35 second mark.

Will the dealer cover it since it sounds like it's something that was a manufacturing issue?

 

As long as it's 3yr 36k then yes even if it's just past a bit they should, otherwise is should be cheap enough
