Snow 4x4 truck events in New England

Are there any winter 4x4 snow events held in Connecticut? Or surrounding states. Just looking to see if there something to go to during the up coming winter.

I do go to the Feb. RV show at the Big E fair grounds. But I haven't seen any type of get-to-gether for pickup trucks in the area. Winter seems to just shut down.

Every now and then we will run up to New Hampshire and drive out on the ice at Lake Winnipisockie(sp). Note it always surprised me how well the Toyo tires on the 7.3 hold.

I just looked at it and really looks like a good time. It looks like 8 off road trucks spiked tires on down hill coarse.

What I read was that it will be held at " Sunday River Ski Resort" Newry, Maine.
On January 10,2014,
From 10:00am to 2:00pm
Walk ups are free, but I didn't see other ways up.

Now all I have to do is talk the better half into taking a day off. Sound great!!!

Back surgery a real bummer, but hopefully when you get through the pain, it will be better than when you started.

My youngest son is going through the back problems after a jerk ran a red light and wreaked his truck. A lot of pain.

I don't think a five hour drive would do you any good so soon after the op.

Hope you feel better soon
