Dual or Single exhaust for stock 360?
I need to place complete exhaust system on my 73 F250 4x4. It has a 360, I'm going to keep it stock with stock 2 bar carb. Any problem if I had a single exhaust installed rather than a dual. I understand if I had a 4 bar carb it would restrict it. Has a worn out dual on it now.

In my experience I have found that FE engines will tend to burn exhaust valves in cylinders 7 and 8, when using a single exhaust with stock manifolds.
Money spent on a good dual exhaust system, even with stock manifolds and a 2 barell carb, is money well spent.
Use the largest head pipe that will fit your manifolds, your choice of mufflers and 2" tail pipes and you won't regret it. Having an X pipe, or an H pipe installed also helps.
As others have posted, a good set of headers never hurt a FE.
