Heater line under manifold is leaking

Have a question regarding my 99 ford e150 with the 5.4L V8 engine. The heater line that comes out the back of the water pump and runs under the manifold has antifreeze pouring out of it. There seems to be a hole or rusted spot on the under side of the metal line about two inches in from the back of the manifold. Local mechanic had me try a bottle of k seal last night but it's still leaking today. Any ideas how the line can be repaired without removing the manifold? Thx

Maybe not much help but I remember reading about this very thing in the Modular Motor forums, 5.4 category of course.

Here's something maybe helpful, look to the last post by the OP: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-manifold.html He gives a good tutorial on the tube in question.
