Need advice for 2004 6.0L F-350

I just bought my first diesel ever and need some input, what are the must have gauges for that motor? Also what are the best tuner/programmers for it?

Thanks!

I run a Scan Gauge with ford X gauge , seems to help me . don't know all that much about Tuners , you can get the S G at auto Zone ,some times theres a discount code on line for Cheeper. Dash Boss Josh and the guys that have other Gauges will fill in Welcome to FTE

Its a new fuel pressure spring. The stock ones were known to deliver low fuel pressure which will destroy the jnjectors in no time. The blue spring mod is cheap, and easy to do. If you search it on here youll find a ton of info on it.

I put a 4" straight pipe turbo back and have a scangauge 2 right now but it doesn't do EGT. I'm not running any hot tunes just a 60+ economy and towing set up....for now!

But are you towing with it? If so get an EGT gauge! Its to be safe and a lot cheaper then a burned up motor. You can still do damage with EGT's before the scan gauge will show danger.
