Oasis Report--Miles or Kilometres?
I have an Oasis report for a PSD I bought used and am trying to clear up a Title on the column headings that show DIST(Miles).
Now living in Canada, the odometer is set to Kilometres not Miles; so... do I take the readings as being Km. and NOT miles because I am in Canada; and the report is just too stupid to know this...
OR
Does the Oasis system take odometer readings from dealerships in Canada and convert them to Miles for the purposes of the reporting system?
I tried calling a couple of dealerships, but getting through to a service adviser was next to impossible; and the one I did talk to said he had never been asked this before...

I see your post is in 2013....that has a very important factor in what I'm suggesting. Your vehicle was probably "US" titled.. meaning it was sold for sale in the "US"....Which was eventually sold @ an auction & bought by a Canadian dealer...then shipped to Canada had the speedo changed to KM's & of course sold to you...this is especially done around the border states & province's...Right now & for the last 2 years Ontario dealers are shipping our vehicles as far south as Tennesee...because the US dollar is 30% more & they get more money for it!! The reverse of this was up to 2013 + when the US dollar was around par & dealers here would buy from US auctions (it also gave them a bigger selection also)...I would almost bet you you live fairly close to a border point!!!!!

Ps: further to the above .....a ford dealer could trace your vin # & tell you what state it was even sold in... Also I think if I am correct the Vin label on the door should say something suggesting vehicle sold in the US...or for sale in the US...compare that label with one that you know was bought new in Canada......Also certain states as in California do not meet our standards for pollution...so only certain states are allowed for our dealers to export them from.....Good Day!!
