EGR delete kit


This is my problem, the truck Idles then revs by itself and throws black smoke.If i leave it on it eventually seems like it floods and shuts off,when i first noticed this it had a loss of power and was having a hard time shifting gears, it would idle fine but when i would try and drive the truck it had no power. I changed the diesel filters and the air filter and the problem persits.

Could this be a bad turbo? Injector?

Here are some things to start looking at.

What was the battery voltage?
Have you checked the FICM?

You will get a lot of help for the 6,o over in the correct forum.

Thanks just posted this over there.... Batteries are 2 months old with full charge..11.7 volts. I have not yet checked the FICM

 

11.7 OUCH!
Charging system I would be willing to bet.
FICM does not do well with low voltage.
