If you could find a 86-91 donor f350 4x4 truck you would have almost everything you need to install both axles......

 

Wouldn't a donor F-250 be the same? you got me wondering Jason...

Mike, a 9" has no provision for the VSS, which will leave him with no speedometer, or even without being able to drive if his truck has an E4OD auto. That would require some modifications that could become quite expensive.

 

The 4x4 F250's had TTB axles in them. They were either the Dana 44HD, or the Dana 50 in later years. Only the F350's got the solid Dana 60 up front.
