Show me your seats!

I'm curious to see what people have done for seat swaps in the 80s and 90s trucks. I'm rebuilding an 84 stepside and and looking for ideas. I can get my hands on some good rebuildable bench seats, but I'd like something a little more comfortable. Let me know what you've done.

I wonder how those would do in a single cab. they look so comfy and a bench with 5 speed is useless.

The extended cab trucks and Bronco share a similar floor plan layout where the seats bolt down. The single cab and crew cab trucks share a style. The two different floor plans are not bolt in jobs. If you're going to go through the work to adapt a Bronco seat to your single cab truck, you might as well look at any seat out of any other vehicle as both will need modifications to fit.

That's good info. there just aren't many options out there for single cabs.

Pretty easy to put bronco buckets in, you just need a seat pan from a 40-20-40 seat(94-97 reg cab or crew cab)

I put lightning seats in my bronco

here is my Factory 40-20-40 in my 96

I swapped 86 F250 extended cab seats into our 89 F250 regular cab. I don't have pics except in my build thread. I have a whole write up in there about it. I had to use a conversion van bottom. I will also tell you that I will never do it again. The first link in my sig is my build thread.

I'd love to have that blue 40/20/40 seat. Finding blue interior parts is hard to do.

I want to come steal your front.

And something about your dash makes it look way nicer than mine for some reason.

A rear 40-20-40 sounds amazing like it should have come like that factory

Hs anyone had any luck with newersuperduty seats? I tried swapping some around from cab to cab in a junk yard. Looks like you should still have room but I'd like to see one already done.

I used seats from a 90 bronco in my 89 regular cab. Definitely a nightmare to get them to fit decent.

Still leaves me enough room for a center console with cup holders, and a speaker box behind the seats.
