A Great Weight.....

I feel as though a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders! A buddy who owns a wrecking yard is taking my 1999 F150 away. It will be a happy day when I see it disappear over the hill on a trailer. Took a beating money wise, but 1/3 of my investment is better than pouring any more money into that bottomless pit. Going back to my 351-powered '66 Slick, the last good truck Ford built.....

Hah! Turns out the wreckers will only give me 50 bucks for it, and that's with 1000 dollars worth of new tires on it! So I guess I pull the tires for something else and call the crusher, they will give me 200 for it and all the other wrecks in my junk.

I sold my old 1989 F250 with 250K miles for $3000 in 2005. Then bought a 2001 F150 with the 5.4 . I ran it for 250 K miles and sold it for $2500. My NEW truck is a 2002 F150 with 105K miles. If you take care of equipment it last a long time.
