Custom bed frame/mounts

Hi,
I have a 1956 f100 that I am attempting to finish soon. I have a new bed from Dan Carpenter with 7" tubs. I also have in place new stock cross members supporting it. I am wanting to install 20X15 inch wheels with a tire diameter of 30". I've seen it done already. My problem is this; the cross members lip, as it curves out, may interfere with the tire during suspension travel. I think I have the ride height set where I want it, I could raise it but then, to me, it will look like a 60's truck with it's butt up in the air which is not my taste.
I'm sure one option is to build custom cross members or something along that line.
Any suggestions guys? Maybe from someone that has already conquered this problem?
I would post pictures to show the problem (yes I have already been sent instructions on how to) but this site is so complicated to do so.

John, thanks for your help. That's a great idea and the bed wood bolts won't show it's been moved since I am using WOW stainless steel strips with hidden bolts. Thanks again John.

Hey Fred? For a few buck become a supporter and pic posting becomes very easy.
Most feel that the help they get here from FTE members is well worth the 20 bucks.
