Hey yall I was wondering the cost of some things for my 2001 F150 Supercrew:
1. Full Detail and Paint Job (just get rid of all the chips, dents, dings, etc on the exterior body and a fresh one color paint job)
2. Just a paint job (a repaint no fixes)
3. Fix all the dings, dents, scratches, etc (no new point just cosmetic damage repair)
I might be going about this the wrong way so please correct me if anything is wrong. Also I would want to get this done at like a maaco. Also, kind of a big question but how much would it cost to paint it myself an what exactly would i need? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

 

Its all in the preparation. If you take off all the trim, sand down the imperfections, clean, wipe, and spray with epoxy.. you can be $1500 - 2000. If you want someone to tape the trim in 1 hour, wipe it off with cleaner for 1 hour, and spray a coat of enamel all over, you might be $400.

 

Richie..just out of curiousty, is your truck wedgewood blue? I have had such issues with my paintjob...looks like someone took a razor and checked it all over the truck..except for the bed
