Fuel pressure should be 38 psi. I would say check Fuel pressure regulator.

A sure sign of a bad PCM (computer)

What engine is this truck equipped with?

If the fuel pump keeps running when the key is cycled from the off to run position you have a faulty computer (PCM). Classic failure mode.

You can check the fuel pressure regulator for signs of leaking by removing the vacuum line then check for signs of fuel leaking out of the FPR by sight and smell. The 58 PSI reading you got (KOEO) is correct for a 4.9L engine.
