08 Escape inside tread tire wear
I tried the search engine but couldn't find much for tire wear.
2008 Escape, have rotated the stock tires every 6000 miles, 40,500 miles on truck.
Had a trusted mechanic check the alignment, all was with in spec.
How come the inside tread wears much faster then the outside tread ?
Is that something common with these trucks ?
Is there a way to adjust the camber so it fixes the wear ?
Thanks

My SIL has an '04, no such wear pattern on hers.
--Double check alignment specs for an update by year. Go to the older/newer spec if you find one.
--Double check for bent parts.
How does it drive? Pull one way or the other? Pull when on the brakes?
Any shake when running at highway speeds?
Do you drive like I do and squeal the tires at every start? Pitch it sideways in the corners? Lay into the brakes like you just spotted a bridge out?

I'll have the mechanic check different model years, good idea.
The truck is driven like a normal car, it's my GF's, she's 53y/o. The truck drives fine on the road. Stops great. I put new pads and had the rotors turned a few months back, even before that there was no problem when braking.
I did replace the front end links last summer with Moog end links. They have grease zerts and I grease them when I rotate the tires.
Now if it was one of my car's, they get driven pretty hard, but they are a whole different vehicle. There tires wear even.
