How to remove stock wiper blades on 1993 F-150
Greetings all! I hope this question hasn't been asked before (couldn't find it doing a search)... Does anyone know how to remove the entire blade assembly from a 1993 F-150? It haven't been able to figure it out. Maybe I'm just dense, but...
Thanks

I wouldn't think there would be a difference in the '80's trucks and your '93, but...... lift the wiper blade and arm up, off of the windshield, bending it at the hinged pivot point. Using a small screwdriver, your fingers, or needle-nosed pliers, pull the small clip located beneath the wiper arm socket (the piece that attaches to your wiper motor shaft) outward. With the arm / blade raised, and the clip pulled outward (it's located underneath the hinged pivot area), gently ease the arm / blade back towards the windshield while making sure the clip is fully pulled out. The arm, under spring tension, should come to rest against the clip, which will block it from returning to lay against the windshield glass. With the wiper arm / blade assembly in this position (with the tension against the clip, and not the glass), gently rock the socket back in forth (to disengage it from the motor shaft) while pulling it up and away from the cowl. It should come off with ease. Hope this helps!
