Depends a lot on what kind and how good our tires are and how wet the snow is. 1 foot should be no problem. 2'-3' of dry snow with a brand new skinny mud tire would be possible. Only truck I have had that goes thourgh snow better than my '97 is my '09.

You got TO be kidding with a question like this.
I might as well look up at the sky and ask why is there AIR.
Good luck

My '99 breaks the MLPS in deep snow or mud. Done it 4 times in 12000 klicks. At 150 bucks a shot, I would stay out of deep snow! Of course, if yours is a stick, ignore this warning.

Never had mine break but the first year I had my '97 we had a few feet of snow and I got it all packed around the MLPS to where I could only shift between drive and neutral. Lucky I could get to neutral to at least shutoff and start again. Took several days of warm weather and driving to melt it out and work again. Made for very careful parking as well since I couldn't back up, I remember some A hole salesman at the dealer yelling at me because I kind of parked in the middle of their lot when I went in to inquire about the issue at the time and had to make sure I could drive out again.

Lol I didn't see that, maybe a synthetic snow?
Back to your question, get a good snow shovel and go like **** and let us us know..... the shovel will be handy if it's to deep.
That's that's the best advise you will get as long as you don't mind digging out or fixing your truck.

How deep does snow have to get before details on the ground are lost? Curbs, logs, potholes, mud, iced-over deep water, pedestrians.....

One of my relatives, having succumbed to the Hummer fad, opted to charge the pile of snow at the end of his driveway, left there by the snowplow. He made it over the pile of snow, right on to the top of a VW that had parked on the other side.

Happens all the time with new 4x4 owners and snow.....

I have yet to drive over a VW. But since my truck is good for 14 feet of snow as Spotty says, I could see how it happens.

With 14' I could pack it down and make a ramp onto my roof.
Now to start a thread and ask how far can I launch my truck off of said roof.
