Talking First Time Diesel Owner... and it's got a TURBO...

first off,

I've been on the site for a few years now
not really on here much unless I'm looking for info for the truck.

I recently traded my 1977 F250 SuperCab (460/C6) and a built AR-15 (with some ammo) for my new 1994 F350 CrewCab Dually (7.3 IDI Turbo Diesel/5sp)

thought I'd say hi and post a few pics

she has a fuel leak at the line going to the #6 injector
looks like the line is cracked and needs replaced
the Previous Owner is supposed to be ordering me one (then helping me install it)

it's also gonna need new brakes
probably everything, as the pads are about gone and the one side has a torn boot on the caliper piston

any suggestions for getting brake parts?
not all sites show applications for DRW's

including a new Turbo DP

Don't underestimate the power of the Diesel Side. Welcome. I got converted to Diesel in 2007, and never went back. I'm sure you'll be converted as well.

Thought I would reply here instead of over on El Camino Man's thread. My down pipe is a custom made obs powerstroke pipe. NMB2 matched it with a 3" turbo outlet that he made. Several others have done it themselves, but I have absolutely no metal fab skills. Banks makes a pipe that fits the factory outlet.
