Need Help Restoring 1993 Ford F150 XL (Windshield Wipers)
I ask that before you read this post completely, that you read my first post as a new member and have a look at the image of the vehicle that I'd like to fix up.
Ok, in my original posting I gave a description of all the problems my truck had when I bought it, and with the exception of the speedometer...those problems still exist. What I would like to do is to begin my restoration by attacking the windshield wiper problem (any info on how to obtain a online manual would be HEAVENLY..LOL)
Anyway, when I try to turn on the windshield wipers I hear some humming and clicking...but the wipers themselves don't even budge. Since buying this truck I am more or less forced to drive it in the rain without wipers. I'm not sure if this is a partial electrical problem and or a wiper motor problem. Can anyone direct me to the original wiring & wiper motor specs for this vehicle.

Thank you Jwsrules for responding to my post. and yeah I found out you are right. As suggested by member 73FOMO I have obtained a "Haynes Repair Manual" which covers repairs & info for "Ford Pick-ups & Broncos 1990 thru 1996, 2WD & 4WD Full-size F100 thru 350 Gasoline engines...1997 2WD & 4WD Full-size F250HD & F350 Gasoline engines". I obtained it from Advance Auto Parts here in Catskill, NY 12414. As a "New Member to FTE" I strongly recommend that ANY new Members obtain the appropriate "Repair Manuals" by going online and contacting their local auto supply stores (i.e., Advance Auto & or NAPA).
