Slick 60's cab step sill plates

Was digging through one of my local junkyards the other day and found a slick that had heavy aluminum sill plates. I don't recall ever seeing these before on a slick. They are much thicker then standard sill plates. Were these an option? These were on I think a 64 or 5 F100 Custom Cab if that matters.

1965/66 F100/250 2WD, 1966 F100 4WD do not have a cab step like other 1961/66's have, so their sill plates are different.

Left: Cab Step / Right: No Cab Step.

The rounded curve sills were a new for feature for '64 Custom Cab 2WD pickups. The feature disappeared in 1965 when new floor pans were used.

I know where some can be found...PM me for more info...these will work on unibody trucks as well as all F100-350 trucks 1961-64 but i believe were used originally on 63-64's. The same cab was used on the 65-66 4WD except 66 F100's...so the plates will fit those as well...

You can believe what you want, but I would go with tripleframe on '64 only, I'm sure he has the facts to back his statement.

They were ORIGINALLY a 64 year issued part...BUT these will fit a multitude of trucks that used that cab step..which I believe was through 68 or 69 on the senior series trucks..but for F100-350...all 61-4 will fit as well as 65-66 F250 4WD and 65 F100 4WD as well as F350 in 65 and 66 as well...

Look in the 1957/63 truck catalog, see if you can find sill plates listed...for anything.
