Dont no what to do just broken my ecu who sells new ones
Hello i have just tryed to remove i think its a ecu part number EECIV EF1-SD20B 33K EPROM E9TF-12A650-AS52A A9J and i have snapped a pin a connector i have looked to see if it can be soldered back but its not possible so my questions are which of the numbers are important who will sell one and whats it for.Is it for the gearbox if i could find out what that pin was for maybe i could just do away with it.I have looked on rock auto and i think they sell them. Its for a E150 1989 I think it snapped when i tryed to remove the plug at the back when i pulled it.Quite mad with myself.I think the numbers that are important are the E9TF-12A650-AS52A but whats the other numbers for A9J thank you

There's this unit on eBay, assuming your van has a C6, but I don't know how to confirm that it's functional and appropriate for your van:
87 88 89 Bronco F150 Pickup Engine Computer ECM ECU PCM E8TF12A650BT2A | eBay
Then there's the caveat, "Control module may require programming before interchanging," but I doubt a module of this vintage could be flashed even at the dealership.
