Sport wheel horn assembly on tilt column

I put a sport wheel on a tilt column that I purchased separately .It is missing all the horn parts . Does the sport wheel use different parts then are on my old wheel which was a non tilt column with a regular steering wheel .

I ran into the same issue myself bought a "ford sport wheel" off epray and when I inspected it it had no provision for a horn ---Think it came of a 70s fairmout or something NOT a TRUCK so it wont work on my 78 f150 with tilt I also need the real deal from a bronco or a f 150,250,350

1978/83 Fairmont/Zephyr & 1979/83 Mustang/Capri Sport steering wheels are "all by themselves." Not the same as:

D7OZ-3600-A & B: 1978/79 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline / 1977/78 Mustang II / 1977/79 LTD II (not an LTD!)/Thunderbird/Cougar/Ranchero/Mark V / 1977/80 Granada/Monarch/Versailles/Pinto/Bobcat.

D7OZ-3600-A = leather (simulated) wrapped. D7OZ-3600-B = soft foam rim. There's gazillion different horn buttons for these wheels.

Patience is a virtue. I hope you have better luck than I did because it took three years for me to find one in the JY..... but it was only $16!

The horn buttons for the sport steering wheel are reproduced by Dennis Carpenter.

I have a steering wheel with original horn button. I overpaid ($100) and it has a small piece of the wrap missing right at one of the spokes.Other than missing piece is in good condition.....PM if your interested.

I think I saw where CRSweet recovered one for a member here. Turned out nice.
