headers for 91 ford with a 351w

hey there just curious.. what kind of headers can i use for my truck.. i have a 91 ford with a 351w... the exhaust manifolds are cracked so i would like to replace them with some headers for better power... ive heard i could use 302 headers... what about mustang headers does are easier to find... any suggestions would be great, thanks...

Mustang headers won't fit a truck the dumps are in the wrong place and at the wrong angle, and 5.0 truck headers won't quite work either because the EGR connects to the passenger side header/manifold on the 5.8, so you need truck specific 5.8 headers if you want a simple bolt-on replacement.

If you want a set of shorty headers, order a set of Summit Racing brand headers. They send you a set of Pacesetter headers that are of excellent quality for the price. You will want to order a set of copper or steel core gaskets to replace the paper gaskets they send you, however.

Hooker makes a full length header for the 5.8 for about $200 but the shortys will bolt up to the ypipe depends on what exhaust mods you are prepared to make

A carb in a '91? That's not original.
