does E99 psd have split fire injectors in a obs block?

Got this 99 f350 psd, and does not have a motor in it, have a spare obs and wondering what would be necessarry to get this thing to function with stock pcm and oem wiring. seems like the turbo from an obs engine was used as the plenums are same size as obs.. Build date of 10/98 with a zf 6. Trying to get a handle on the basics as i would venture to guess the remaining inventory of obs stuff was dispersed in production. thankx!

The PCM in the '99 should run it with split shots, but it will idle a little rough.

I know where 2 complete obs motors are sitting for stupid cheap.
In the process of swapping all the peripheral parts from an excursion over to a 95obs block.
Samey same for the most part...

You sure e99 ran singles?
They would have been 90cc injectors if that were the case... only the 444eho got the ac code 160cc singles.

The OBS guys could tell you better, but the block will run just fine. The e99 ran split shots, so get you newer injectors. Remove the fuel pump and plug the hole in the block so you can run e-fuel, find you a 17 deg HPOP and you should be good enough.

Finding the late model intake plenums, up pipes and turbo will make it better, but is optional.

The hpop reservoir will need to be changed.

I wish I had the extra cash, a spair motor would be great. I have a friend going down to Texas next week for a 3 week vacation, it would be a free ride back up for me.

thought i heard the timing cover on the obs is slightly different , and can be modded ( carefully) for the 17* hpop install. so getting back to the e99 pcm, would it fire the obs injectors?

Why change just the reservoir?

Puts the ebps in front sd style... otherwise i guess the obs way would work if you bent it out of the way of the sd fuel bowl...fuel lines... frx...

96+ as i have it on good authority... will accept both 15* and 17* pumps... just need to have the corresponding reservoir. Potential issues (as i have been told) are basically reservoir leakdown overnight resulting in long start or no prime to pump and good ol' air introduction.
