Rough idle?

So I have been driving my truck more to give it some exercise. Today I was regretting it because it was 95 out...

All of a sudden I notice like a grinding/sputtering feeling when I am turning at low speeds, and now when I keep it in drive and put the emergency brake on, the idle sputters pretty bad, in fact it almost seems to shake a whole truck! What the heck is going on?

Thanks for the help
Craig

Vacuum leak or dirt in the carb? Does it run fine besides this?

It runs strong, it's still very powerful, but when it's fully warmed up it sputters pretty bad. And when I am turning at low speeds, I hear/feel a grinding almost...

Where and how do I check for vacuum leaks?

Get a can of carb cleaner & with the long skinny tube attached start spraying it at anything where vac occurs. Intake to heads, carb to intake, etc. You will notice a definite change in how it runs if you find a vac leak doing this. That will tell you where the leak is at.
