2003 V10 E350 - Tire 245 Load E to 265 Load D?
I need new tires and I would like to up the size from 245/75/16 Load Range E to 265/75/16 Load Range D, they both have the same Load Weight of 3065. What is the disadvantage of changing the load range if they both equal the same weight?
I did some searches but found no input on Load Range changes.
I know the 265 may rub on a hard turn with a dip.
I do not tow anymore and it is used for work only with about 800lbs in the back.
Thanks for any input.

When we bought our e350 it had 265/75R16 rubber, The front bumper had been spaced out about 1/2". It still had some minor rub when turning, But most of that was because of the way the running boards are mounted. (one of the screw heads).
The tires were E load range, Loved the ride, more cush than stock. planning to go back to that size.
When we ran a D 245 it was OK, But you could feel that that on the cloverleafs, Ect.
The only other issue at mind is that with the gang in and if we were towing as well the 3.73s seemed a bit tall, so 4.10s are coming.
That's my .02.
