First off, I have a '97 Powerstroke with a TS Chip and Swamps IDM with a few other mods.

I just happened to pick up a complete late '99 Powerstroke motor (for a great deal) that I was looking at swapping out parts to upgrade my obs.

Would it be ok to swap the following?:
-Turbo
-Pedestal
-Ypipe
-Up pipes
-3" Intake Plenums
-HPOP

Or do I need to also swap injectors and my idm or any other parts?
My other question is can I run late '99+ intercooler pipes with this ypipe and then add a 7.3 intercooler to my '97?
I would look to rebuild the turbo and add a different compressor wheel and I would take the injectors from my '97 and have them built to stage 2's rather than run the split shots (also I do not have the idm for the '99.)

I may be unclear on some stuff, so feel free to question me.

To run sd turbo you have to swap drivers exh manifold also.idm does not need to need to b sd since you have swamps.swap to bellowd up pipes while apart.im planning on the cheap doorman kit or just bellow the ones you have.

 

Sorry, I've been away from my computer for awhile.

Do I really need to swap the drivers exhaust manifold? I was informed I didn't.
Also what do I need to do for wiring? Just ignore some? I saw there was a wire to the Spyder and also a plug to the pedestal.

 

Oh...wait.97...i think manifold is ok.no wiring needed swapped.plug the unused holes in spyder.
