You will be missing a lot. there are a lot of great trucks and aftermarket companies that show up and show off their stuff. then the take it to the track and lay their money down. There is a LOT of great info and even some great deals on aftermarket parts. I bought my guages last year for 200 bucks. Boots/pyro and guage holder plus all the things to hook them up. I priced the same stuff last week for the new truck I just bought and it was over 350 bucks. I'm looking at picking up a pulling clutch and HD imputshaft this year so I can start my sled pulling and drag raceing. next year Twin turbos

Well 01 I did end up going afterall. I can't say for shure wether or not I remember your shirt. I got to the truck pulls at about 18:00. I had a lot of trouble finding the place. I did see a lot of good trucks and pulls including the turbo carnage, and the white Ford that got rear ended by the sled at about the 100' mark. I got to talk with Dennis Perry, and David Lott. I stayed until 22:00 cuz had to go get something to eat, the fire dept. had run out of food before I got there. Sun. I got to the drag strip at about 10:00, left town at 12:00.

We left the house here around 9:00am and got to Muncie around 12:30. satyed until the Ford truck with the DT 466 engine pulled well tried to pull. looked good just could not get going. I did not sit in the stands much I was helping my friend who have the black 97 dodge reg cab pulling truck. he blew his clutch on his last pull if you wanted to see a good looking Ford truck You should have seen DMZ's truck it was sitting on a trailer all night. I tried to get them to pull it but they said no it was a show truck. their pulling truck was a Dodge but they decided to mess around and do some drag raceing up and down the street and blew a turbo. I also hung around the dyno because many of my friends were dynoing that day. I kept hearing that there was a few Fords with mechanical pumps but I did not see any. I saw a ford stroker with Stroke this on it I saw one guy with two trucks. One a Ford and One a dodge. he used the Dodge to pull the Ford to the pull. Only problem was when he broke the Ford he pulled the Dodge. He sartted bouncing and broke a u-joint. I wander how he got home that night
P/S glad you ccould make it.
