Does anyone know what is the closest radial tire size would be to 7.00 x 15 bias ply? I found that I have what looks to be the original bias ply spare tire under my 62 bed. It's a bias ply 7.00x15. I googled conversion charts and it seems that 215/75R15 would be close. I'd eventually like to get new tires that look close to original stock. Did the 62 unibody custom cab come with white walls? Were the bottle cap FORD hubcaps standard?

 

215/75R-15 is what I had heard.

 

235 75R 15s is what I would put on F100s unless you like undersize tires (which some do) The old 700 x 15s were 30-31 inches tall and the 235 75Rs are about 29.

 

Yes, believe the standard and only cap were the bottle type caps. If you don't have a set, I could help you with that. I also have a spare wheel that is available. I took the centers from my stock wheels and fit them to new 15X8 hoops from Speedway, I am now using P265/75/R15 tires. I spaced the wheels so they were centered in the wheel wells front and rear.
