OT - Cummins Comin' Up a Grade Near Here.

I stumbled across this on YouTube and completely lost my ability to resist posting a reply to all the comments from the cheap seats. I really do know better, but my fingers don't always listen.

I just noticed something... look at the name on the side of the trailer.

Stupid owner, destroying a good truck, regardless of make. What a way to waste a truck.

That was just a shame. I wouldn't give up my 7.3 for that truck, but it was still a nice truck that deserved a better owner.

all I really noticed in the video was the guy talking smack was bogartin the left lane while the center lane was open.........

Talks cheap and until you have walked 100 miles in another mans shoes it's best to just keep speculation to yourself.

I'm trying to do this "safely" because this is a family forum, so ill post the link but not the image (its not bad, just maybe a little inappropriate for younger crowd.) my girlfriend noticed the other day that the dodge ram head looks surprising similar to something else. Here's a pic of the ram emblem:

Here's a link to what she said it looked like... http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/...psb79d40cd.jpg

There are interesting similarities...

In all honesty, if there were three more lanes, I'd still grab the far left one when passing a trailer engulfed in smoke. There's no way to know it's coal until he reached the truck... it could just as easily have been a tire ready to blow, or something on fire near a propane tank.

You make a good point, though... he might have just popped his turbo and he's praying to make it to the rest area at the crest of the hill. It being a Dodge (I call 'em Smudges... from the smudge-pot days), and my experience with local Dodge owners, has led me to begin assuming. I need to stop doing that.

ryegrass....

Unless that tralier has a chit ton of gold in it, or lead, there is zero reason that there should be that much smoke unless something is broke, or someone did a ghetto mod to force it to spray more fuel...

regardless, theres no excuse to not downshift and up the rev's or for gods sake turn off the OD at least..
