fusible link for fuel pumps
#16
Worked between the rain drops, and got it fixed today
I started at the relay, and went in both directions, kicking the inertia switch off, helped me by shutting down part of the system.
I found it to be the red wire, which does pretty much everything on top of the motor.
Finally, to save myself from removing the plenum, I got out my scope.
Looking around, I finally saw the #8 injector wire was pinched by the coil plate
I had to remove a little bit of the emissions valves, then I could get to the area. Wire wasn't cut clear through, so I was able to just put some liquid electrical tape on it.
I tested it using a harness made of a fuse, I had to order the resistor wire, should be in tomorrow
A big huge Thank you goes out to everyone for helping!!!

it's one of these Chris.
Inspection Camera - Save on this Digital Inspection Camera
I usually use it to look inside cylinders when the spark plug is out

I like it ok. It uses a batteries, so I can use rechargeables in it.
The "snorkel" is a bit stiff, and it takes some planning to get it to "bend" around a corner.
The picture is adjustable for focus, and brightness.
All in all, I probably use it 4 or 5 times a year, so it has paid for itself. If it breaks tomorrow ( it probably will sooner or later) It's paid for itself in just that last job alone.
I probably would buy another one if this one broke

i have one very similar to this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/5m-USB-Waterproof-Borescope-Endoscope-Inspection-4-LED-Snake-Tube-Camera-USA-/310656942728?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item485498c288
when i need it fixed/solid to something i tape it to a length of bailing wire to use in tight places on top of the engine.
