5spd to auto swap

5spd to auto swap
Most people want to go the opposite way, but I'd like to go from the granny 5spd in my 92 F250 5.8L 4x4 to an automatic. Which auto am I looking for? I have a parts 96 PSD with an auto. With a different bellhousing, would that work? I've done some searching but have only found peeps swapping their autos for 5spds. Obviously, pedals, trans, torque converter, and tranny cooler are the main things but what else will I be needing? Driveshafts? ECU the same or different? I appreciate the help.

The bellhousing is not removeable.
The diesel wiring is not compatible because its a diesel.
Find another donor truck with an auto. Same year preferred (maybe someone else can say a year range that works)
You're going to need the entire trans harness and possibly part of the engine bay harness. You'll need the 302/351 e4od trans and ecu.
There may have been a 4r70 option that year, but not for the 351.
You'll need a flexplate converter trans and wire harness.
The pedal you can just unhook. Replace it if you want its up to you.
May need crossmember but I think the one you have can be moved if needed.
