Navigator seats into 92 F250

I was given a pair of navigator seats almost 9 months ago. I finally have the time, weather, and motivation to put them in. I will take pics as i do the install and post a thread on how I did it.

Wish me luck

Good luck. But you won't need luck. It's pretty easy to put seats in.

Yes they are Black leather full power, not sure if they have the seat warmers, but I don't think so. The seats are out of an 2002.
Yeah it is going to be a pretty easy swap. the big thing i learned tonight is to make sure there is no forward or rear lean in the seat.

What I have decided to do is I cut the rivets that hold the seat mounts to the seat brackets on the original seats, that way I can reuse the original mounts. I am using a piece of 2" X 2" X1/8" angle, 18" long. This will bolt across the original mounts on the front and the new seats will bolt to the angle iron. I have not decided if I am going to use more angle or flat stock to extend the original mounting brackets rearward to bolt the new seat to or just drill through the floor and run a bolt through that way. If I go through the floor I will reinforce the floor with some flat stock
