Hello.. I have a 2004 Ford Explorer with 100K miles, transmission is going *this will be fixed* however I have developed a rhythmic (2 second interval) thumping sound that seems to be coming from the front passenger (right side) area.

The noise even continues once the engine is turned off...

Looking for some suggestions
