URGENT!! MOTOR OIL HELP!!

can i put used oil in my diesel im low and need oil thanks

I would not reccomend it , But clean used oil is better than no oil ! As long as it is clean it will do in a pinch ! I did that for one of my daughters boyfriends years ago . Got him home !

lol! thatsa loaded question! Yea you can! How low are you? does it register on the dipstick? If it does keep driving till you can buy a couple quarts.

Usually used oil is so contaminated from sitting around it usually never a good thing.
Wich end of the truck do you need used oil? Under the hood or in the tank?

its on the add mark the used oil still feels good i just need to drive about 2 miles then ill do a oil change

If it still is on the dipstick don't add used oil. Just drive it.

these engines hold 10-12 quarts, the add mark is 2 quarts low, so being at the add mark means you still have at 8-10 quarts in there. i wouldn't be afraid to drive it for a week before adding oil.

Heck if your just at the add mark you have no worries. It just needs a little in there to make it slick anyway! Lol
