Are there holes behind the badges on the fenders?

Just wondering, I like the clean look and didn't know if I'd have to do actual body work to take them off.

Blue, I believe he wants to take them off .
(cheapo picture) was just for example of location. This is a pick and pull one from a yard. I agree with you on the quality on aftermarket body parts

Guess I won't worry about it until my fenders rot out and need replacing then.

I like the badgeless look. If there weren't holes, they'd be gone.

I wish I would have paid my body guy to fill them in. I had him fill the antenna hole on the cowl, but the indented portion on the fenders was going to add hundreds in labor costs. I was doing the body work during college and just didn't have the funds.

The paint already has some chips in it, and it's still my work truck, so 10 years from now I'll be re-painting it again. When I do that, those holes are getting filled.

One of my fenders is starting to rust a little so I'll do them both when it comes time. I'll probably paint the whole truck then and make it perfect.

I was going to get a custom set made. I had copied the factory style font to build a badge that said "F-250" like the factory badge, but where it says "XLT========" I had changed it to "460 BBF=======". Unfortunately, the few companies that do badges to order couldn't make it as long as I wanted to keep it saying "F-250" because of legal action Ford had taken against them in the past.

I have a younger brother starting school this fall for welding and machining. I think he'll have access to a CNC in school, so I'm just going to wait to have him cut me a custom set like I want.
