Thanks for the redirect!

There's something great about sharing experience.
As a North Dakota farmboy and a veteran Navy Submariner, it is in my blood.
I just wanted to thank you for this thread.
It has really given me direction as to buying gauges and vehicle preps prior to committing to any tuning.
Once she who handles the bills gives me the green light I'll be having some fun!

Major kudos to Tugly and the rest who contributed.

how about length.. i was most likely going to use driver side exhaust location near the oil filter as noted in video on YouTube or is there a better, easier, location on pass side??

Sorry for the delayed response. Never saw your questions.

I used the exposed tip thermocouple because they say it is recommended for exhaust readings.

I used one standard 6 foot long thermocouple /cable and a longer version which I don't see on the AUBER website right now which I think is 10 feet.

6 foot was plenty of length from the driver's side exhaust manifold if you're coming in from the driver's side foot well and going up to near the radio. For the passenger side manifold, 6 foot might be a little risky. If you run out of length you can always try a more direct route up into the cabin...aka drill a hole. Which no one likes to do.
