15" tires

Just to stay on the cheap side, I'm going to stick with the 15" wagon wheels on my 52 F1. I want the fattest tires I can fit without rubbing the fenders obviously. I'm pretty sure these wagon wheels are close to center on the offset. What do you all recommend?? It had 295/50R15s on the back that were shot. Would that size fit up front too?? I want the same size front and rear. I put some 215 70 rollers on it and it looks dumb, but at least it's not on flats.

With no offset, you should clear 255/60/15s. I put them on the back of mine and they cleared fine. I put 235/60/15s up front, but it looked like the 255's would clear too, but I didn't try them prior to tearing it apart. I am running 15x8 rims with 4" backspacing (zero offset).

Can someone post up some pics of their 15" wheel tire combo, I'm torn on what size I want, I think I want 50 series tires, just not sure how tall. I want tires as wide as possible on 15"x8" rims, but the right height to look correct.

I put a set of 235-75-15s on my 54. This is what the front looks like. I don't have a full side view pic to share right now.

Thanks for the pics. Like you said before, I bet the 255s would clear up front. Almost looks like 295 50s would clear the front with the right wheel. Anyone running 295 50 15s?? I just figured out my rims aren't worth keeping, so now I'm looking for wheels. I found a set of 15x10 rockcrawler wheels on CL for $100, but I bet they would stick out too far.
