spark plug question
real quick i have a 2007 f150 fx4 with the 5.4....had trouble with low end misfires in o/d and misfires under hard acceleration bad enough to throw a misfire code...
i bought all new plugs and coil packs to clear the problem. i worked slowly and used expensive penitrating oil to try to get all the plugs out...all but one came out with a little effort
that is my problem...one plug acts as if it is backing out but never releases. i used needle noise plyer to try to pull the plug out but the plug itself is still tight. i assume the threaded part has broken loose from the spark plug body itself b/c if you tighten with the wrench the plug will snug right back up.
my question is will a spark plug remove tool fix this or how do i get it out??
thanks
JJ

You might find a ton of useful videos on YouTube. Use their search function for that tool number.
BTW I don't have hands-on experience with this process so apologies if I'm not that helpful. The Lisle tool and its Cal Van counterpart are often times mentioned here as the best tool for this job though.
