I hate to ask this....but what is the tan lower trim color on the Eddie Bauers? (2005 if that matters) I searched all over and found it was "supposed" to be Arizona Beige, I bought it ...but that ain't it. Anybody know?

 

I just tried looking around and everywhere says it's Arizona Beige. Is it possible you got a bad mix or something?

The AQ Arizona Beige is as close as your going to get. I went threw all kinds of fun trying to get the right color for my X. It isn't an exact match but close enough.

Thanks. I had a boo boo on the front bumper, where the paint had peeled off down to the gray primer. I put some touch up on it now it is much darker and worse than when it was primer. The picture looks better than it does in person.

 

From what I am told the paint actual "shade" all depends on who sold the batch of paint to ford that week, PPG or dupont. The AQ just so happens to be a mix of about 12 different colors too so it is very easy to not get right by anyone even the same maker. If yours is to dark and I can see it in the pic, try getting another touch up paint can of strait silver and test mixing the two on a small plate or something and holding them up to the bumper till you get something closer to your color.

I have NEVER had one of those touch up things work well for me. Try looking for a close match with nail polish

 

Long time ago the whole back right panel was keyed (after being broken into...whole neighborhood got hit and like 6 other cars got the same thing). I brought it to Snyder's Snyder's Auto Body here in SoCal and they repainted to whole back panel and got the same matching pinstripe detail as well. Maybe you can give them a call and see what they used.
