Excursion Limited Plastic Exterior Trim Color/Paint Anyone find right paint to renew plastic trim?
I have a 2003 Excursion Limited in Mineral Gray. The plastic beige/tan trim on the bumpers and running boards is faded and chalky armor all helps but doesn't last. I would like to paint it to give it some new life but not sure of the color. Anyone know what color I need?

The truck is a Mineral Gray Limited with Medium Parchment interior. The thing is medium parchment is a loose term as the interior has at least 3 different colors. If I look up the running boards or any other exterior plastic trim piece it says Arizona Beige. However Arizona Beige is a metallic paint color and these plastic pieces were never metallic. From looking at them and the other hues of the truck the plastic is somewhere between medium parchment and medium dark parchment. It is closer to the darker color of the carpet than the lighter color of the majority of the interior plastics and leather. So with that said I’m not sure what color to go with but it can’t be metallic. It will never look right on plastic. I think medium parchment is too light and medium dark parchment is too dark.

2003 may be the year that Ford changed that tan color from Medium Parchment to Medium Pebble. You mentioned you are seeing parts for your vehicle listed as Medium Parchment, so I could be wrong on the year, or maybe it changed halfway through. The base colors changed for both the grey, and tan. My base color is the Medium Graphite, with Dark Graphite trim parts to compliment like the front console cup holder, the Medium Graphite changed at some point, to Medium Flint.
Scroll down till you see "Ford" brand on the left, select that to cut out the rest of the manufactures, and maybe you can find your shade in there.
