06 Expedition brake job fastener sizes
Just did my wife's brakes yesterday after work, took about 1-1/2 hours start to finish.
So I was online a couple days ago, searching for fastener sizes and whatnot so I could bring my tools home and do the job today. Couldn't find anything with any kind of speed (laptop is a pos now) so I decided to do it at work where my tools are.
Now, I'm posting this here for whoever finds themselves in the same predicament.
Not sure if air ride makes a difference, but mine doesn't have it.
Okay.
Wheel nuts: 22mm
Front calipers: 9mm hex (real odd size, glad my apprentice had one)
Rear calipers: 6mm hex
Caliper mounts: 18mm
Hopefully that'll help someone.

2004 Expedition XLT Sport 4x4, 117,870 miles
Nice post, helpful for those about to conquer this job.
I just replaced front pads and rotors and all four brake flex hoses. The front hoses also came with new vacuum hoses for the 4x4.
Brake fluid was due for a flush anyway so I replaced the hoses.
I'm pleased with the outcome. The pedal feels much better and has a solid bottom when braking hard. I had the same positive experience when I replaced the flex hoses on the front discs of my 1997 F150 - worth the money and effort to do this.
