223 head part

Numbers Dummy, can you please give me the part number for a 223 rocker shaft support?
Also if you know of anyone that carries them, I would be very grateful. Thank you!

TWO different types used in 1962. The serial number is the last 6 digits of the VIN

Before serial number 280,001: EAA-6531-A .. Support-Rocker Arm Shaft / Obsolete

AITKEN MOTOR CO. in Aitken MN has 1 = 218-927-2169.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 800-543-4959.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 1 = 800-476-9653.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 4 = 972-937-2201.

KLIMESH MOTOR SALES in Calmar IA has 6 = 563-562-3241.
---------------------------------------------------------
From serial number 280,001: C1AZ-6531-A .. Support-Rocker Arm Shaft / Obsolete

NOS ONLY in San Jose CA has 1 = 800-667-6659.

NOS PARTS LTD has 1.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS has 1.

KLIMESH MOTOR SALES has 16.

I just went thru the same thing for my 55 223. I found an EA6532 on eBay for $15.00 then too it to a welder and had him weld the threaded part to the top and it works and looks exactly the same... $45.00 all in.... For cry from the $140.00 the part store wanted!! Am pretty sure the seller on eBay had a few. Hope that helps

Miller does not have any, if they did, I would have said so.

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS (607-722-5371 - Binghamton NY) listed on rearcounter.com as are NOS ONLY & NOS PARTS LTD

When I typed both part numbers into rearcounter, NOS PARTS LTD has both, NOS ONLY has C1AZ-6531-A. MILLER is not listed.

R2studios: No such Ford part number as EA6532.

If R2 refers to Jet Thrust Engines: Studebaker Lark/Hawk/Avanti 289/305 R1/R2/R3/R4/R5 rocker arm support: 1554013

It's still not a valid Ford part number, look in any Ford car/truck parts catalog, see if you can find a part number that has a 1 suffix.
