Used to love Bonnie---for some reason she's grown quite annoying lately---not sure what's up with that.

Loved seeing Jackson Brown with David Lindley---Linda Ronstadt and that unknown band The Eagles as her back up band. Good concert, closed the show with this, naturally:

 

Let's go back a "little" further. Saw her @ the Golden Bear in SoCal. One of the her last appearances w/ the Stone Poneys. Did not know Mike Nesmith wrote this song till I dug up this cut.

***ETA 03/26/2013: I've been doing some reading. It seems that Daryl Hannah had ACCUSED Jackson Browne of beating her, one evening, at his home.
According to what I read, JB called the police and at the time there was no evidence of violence.

When he was young - he reminded me a lot of an old friend that moved to Vienna Virginia when his Mom died. Tom something or other...
(Used to call him "TOM TOM, the PIPERS Son", not to mentipn Tom Foole...)

I listen to Bonnie Rait a lot. I have most of her albums. I have most of Jackson Browns albums too but I don't listen to him much. He did a good show at Mud Island Arena Memphis in the early 90s. I would like to see Bonnie play.

 

What would be truly radical is a combination Bonnie & Stevie Nicks show...

But that's prolly not gonna be.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE:

Stevie Nicks is doing a FLEETWOOD MAC TOUR!!!

 

Linda was and is still very cool----cute as a button until the later 70's when she suddenly became a poster girl/bombshell:






Saw her in the middle/later 80's with Nelson Riddle, she was doing her big band era thing---great concert under the stars that night!

 

LOVE jackson browne's solo acoustic albums. i'll listen to those any day, even before the original recordings.
