when I had my 11 escape with towing pkg, I had same problem as you, turns out under the bumper there was a connection that wasn't plugged in.....turned out to be an easy fix, I haven't looked to see if the f150 have the same type of design.... I doubt its the same but its worth a look......good luck

Nope, went right up after and found the #9 and #21 empty. Ordered today from a bud, so hoping to have things up and hot within a couple days.

I love this site.

[QUOTE=04XLTRUNNER;13001489]The relay and fuse in the glove box doesn't have to be installed for the lights to work. That is just for auxiliary power to the 7 pin connection for power inside a trailer or camper. Tails Lights should still work without them there.

Check the ground in the trailer and wiggle it around Some on the trailer ball. Sometimes new ***** have paint and need to be scuffed up a little to make connection. Also check the connection on top of the spare tire of the truck. Make sure it is completely locked in.[/QUOTE

hey man, just wondering I have a 2014 f150 fx4 trailer lights were working perfectly. And then just stoped working i jumped the trailer over to my buddy's truck and they light up perfectly. I get no brake lights, no turn Signal, no running lights nothing. But about 2 months before they worked just fine. Any clue on what it might be ?

2012 f150 lariat-trailer lights issue

Hooked up my boat trailer and only have running lights. No turn or brake. Wires and lights are brand new. So i figured it was the connector on my truck, so I changed it. Still the same. Hooked it up to my brothers truck all lights work. Any help would be great. Trying to get on the water tomorrow for my daughters birthday.

could it be the plug coming from the truck to the hookup or is it a fuse or relay?

thanks
tommy

I had this problem recently for the trailer lights on my 2014. It was fuse #73 under the hood.
