Window Regulator Bolt Size (Pop Rivets Sheared Off!)
Over the winter, my truck had the passenger window stop moving up and down under power. I could hear the regulator moving but the glass kept falling down inside. I took the door panel off today to find that the window regulator had snapped off all four pop rivets that hold it to the door.
I know some of you have removed the pop rivets and replaced them with bolts - what size and length did you use? Thanks.

Found an answer in the archives after much searching and got them swapped in. They are 1/4 inch bolts (7/16 inch head) and they're 1/2 inch long. I got mine in stainless steel; I needed the following:
Four 1/4x1/2 inch bolts
Eight 1/4 inch flat washers
Four 1/4 inch locknuts/nylocks
Unfortunately, I found that in the interim the down function on the motor had died. :P It's not the gearbox as I'd just rebuilt that and it's got plenty of power to raise the glass. New motor time.
