That's what we're hoping for.

Has anybody ever bought one of those polyurethane bushing kits? I'm guessing it would actually raise the truck a little and help the ride.

Extraordinary. People love it though. I just have it because when I did my motor swap the cheapest and easiest way to get exhaust on it was just bending some pipe and welding it where it goes to the first cat.

For the record, headers, true duals with an x pipe and no cats or mufflers dumped at the rear tire side exit sounds AMAZING on a 302 Bronco and wasn't loud in the cab unless the top was off.

Does anybody know if 2nd gen lightning style kits that exit in front of the tire will fit? I'm still debating if I want to do a catback or a custom and now I'm starting to think I might do duals again.

For the price you'll pay for true "Lightning" exhaust tips, etc..

You can build your own. That's what I did..Less than $100 not including the muffler.

I'm so indecisive. I may start with it dumped but use a dual out muffler so if I decide later that I want duals I can add the piping to make it work.

The 300 doesn't move alot of air. I'd leave the exhaust stock. Don't waste any $ on KN either. If the exhaust needs replacing, then a good quality high flow cat and a decent turbo style muffler like the one Dynomax makes. Go with a 2.5 inch single.

2-2.25" is plenty enough man...Can always flare the ends up a bit to make it all fit.

A lot of it is just me wanting to change the look. My rusty stock exhaust hanging behind the wheel isn't exactly visually appealing. I'd like the exhaust to sit higher than that and have a nice shiny tip or have dual 3" tips hanging under the back bumper. I can do that with a turbo style muffler getting all new piping for around $200 on eBay and bolt it up in my driveway.

I've talked to a couple of local parts stores with no luck, but doesn't Walker offer everything from the exhaust manifold back? I'm looking to replace the entire system. Any suggestions on where to buy from would be greatly appreciated.

I ended up just cutting off everything behind the factory muffler and dumped it before the axle. No change in sound but it looks better. I may throw on another muffler and I may delete a cat, haven't decided yet. I'm actually pretty content with it quiet right now.
