2wd excursion level help

its a 2001 v10 limited 2wd i already put on on 20" xd thump with 305 terra grapplers but i want to fit 35" trail grapplers and keep my rims

i would like it to sit a little higher in the front and maybe have a weider stance with the tires spread out a little

whats the best way to do this?

i was considering getting a 3" lift in the front and keep the back stock

6 inch is the minimum lift kit for 2wd.
Includes replacing front steering parts.....
2" front spacers are about only alternative
but sometimes makes front hard to align
without grinding to get clearance to
avoid metal on metal...

I did 6" lift kit from fabtech which lifted the front close to 6" but only 3 in the rea which was rectified. You will not fit 35s in the front on a 2wd without EITHER 6" lift or trimming. You can cut enough away but will look like crap. I had a body shop quote me $3500 to fab larger wheel wells to prevent rubbing.

On one hand you mention having 305s but then wanting 35s. These numbers do not correlate with each other. 305 is a width measurement and 35 is a height. you can have 305 in width and 27" in height or 305 and 37" in height...35s are all about 35" tall. Nitto terra grapplers are among the shortest, not sure on the trails.

I tried coil spacers but could not get truck aligned so removed them. Cannot comment on rims till we know the measurements of them. Most lift kits call for lift and new rim backspacing...or you will rub. I did 6" and stock rims and rubbed. Went wider with new rims but still rub with effort.
