exhaust questions

IMHO you can always buy cheaper, but with headers you usually get what you pay for. Sanderson guarantee's fit if you buy the model they say will fit. Cheaper headers use thin flanges that warp and blow out gaskets, ports that don't match, lightweight tubing that crack and rust out, overheat the underhood, and rattle (the exhaust pulses make them ring) unmercifully. They are seldom ceramic coated (often just painted with BBQ paint) and if they are coated the coating is thin and the inside is not coated (more important to coat the inside than the outside, exhaust corrode from the inside. I recommend buying a quality set once, rather than 2 or 3 sets of cheap ones and have to modify the rest of the exhaust to fit each new set.
